Update from the first look post
The Minisforum V3 - a newly released tablet - is my latest acquisition. The tablet itself is quite nice with Fedora 40 on it.
After almost three months using it, I continue to love the tablet itself. While I have different use cases for it than an iPad - I have an iPad for those use cases - it's great for light to moderate gaming, works well with a USB-C monitor and with a keyboard/mouse attached, Fedora 40 works well on it although I'm strongly thinking of switching off Gnome/Wayland and over to something auto tiling for Wayland - think AwesomeWM and the like. Just not sure how well it'll work in tablet mode using those style window managers.
Still waiting for a better keyboard/folio option though!
tl;dr Stick with an ipad until something like an ipad magic keyboard is out. When there is something like that uses the hardware connection - mag+wired - well, in that case <3.
