Go into the BIOS->Chipset->North Bridge and change “VT-d” to Disabled, then save BIOS settings and reboot.
The USB based updates for my Blackmagic Videohub 40x40 12G were hanging at 0%. Turns out the fix is easy: Don't use USB, use IP for the update. While I had to use the setup menu on the front panel to do a rather painful IP change, once done it's done.
